Ships and Room Types

As with many cruise lines, Disney Cruise Line has many options for ships and rooms within each ship. There are smaller ships such as the original Magic and Wonder to much larger ships like the newest Treasure and Destiny along with the Dream and Fantasy in between. There is also the very large Adventure.  Each ship has it's own personality and adventures for you to go on.

Ships

  • Disney Cruise Line currently has seven ships sailing out of the United States and one ship sailing out of Singapore.

  • The Disney Magic and Wonder are the oldest ships in the fleet and the smallest with a guest capacity of approximately 2,700.

  • The Disney Dream and Fantasy are “sister ships” with very similar layouts.  They are bigger than the original ships with an approximate guest capacity of 4,000.

  • The next three ships to debut are the Disney Wish, Treasure, and Destiny.  These ships have a completely different layout than the Dream and Fantasy with a similar guest capacity.

  • The Disney Adventure is currently sailing out of Singapore and is unlike any of the other Disney ships.  It has a guest capacity of approximately 6,700.

Room Types

  • All of the ships have different room types and categories.  They all have different suites and concierge level rooms.  They all have rooms with a balcony or veranda.  Inside rooms have no views or windows of the outside.  Rooms with outside views without a veranda are also available on all of the ships.  Within all of these room types there are options to fit families of varying sizes.  Some room types are available on multiple levels of the ships, while some may be limited to a floor or area of the ships.  Having an idea of what type of room you might be interested in will help expedite your booking process.
